CORNSTARCH COOKIES 
1 1/2 c. cornstarch
1 1/2 c. powdered sugar
3 c. flour
3 sticks of butter, softened

Mix ingredients. Roll into balls. Bake at 400 degrees for 10 minutes. Roll warm cookie (let cool just enough so they don't fall apart) in powdered sugar.

Variation: Roll in pecans before baking. Press thumb in center of cookie (before baking) and fill center with chocolate sauce, cherries, jelly, peanut butter, etc.
