CREEPING CRUST COBBLER 
1/2 c. butter
1 c. flour
1 c. sugar
1 tsp. baking powder
1/2 c. milk
2 c. fruit: blackberries, raspberries, apricots, peaches, etc.
1 c. or less sugar

Melt butter in 10" baking dish. Mix flour, sugar, baking powder; add milk and mix. Spoon over melted butter. Heat fresh or canned fruit with sugar, adjusting less sugar if fruit is canned. Pour over dough. Bake in a 350 degree oven about 30 minutes until crust is golden brown. Crust will rise to the top. Serve warm or cold, if any lasts that long.
