PASTEL CLOUDS 
1 pkg. (2 layer) white cake mix
1 pkg. (3 oz.) Jello, any flavor
1/4 c. boiling water
6 tbsp. butter
3 c. confectioners' sugar

Prepare mix as directed for cupcakes, adding 1/2 package gelatin before beating. Cool 10 minutes in pans. Remove from pans, cool on racks. Dissolve remaining gelatin in boiling water.

Cream butter; add part of sugar gradually, blend after each addition. Add remaining sugar, alternately with gelatin mix, beat until smooth. Spread on cupcakes. Makes 2 - 2 1/2 dozen cupcakes and 1 3/4 cups frosting.
