ITALIAN PEPPER COOKIES 
2 to 2 1/2 c. flour
1 tsp. salt
2 tsp. black pepper
4 eggs
3 tsp. fennel seeds
4 tsp. baking powder
1/2 c. cooking oil

Put flour in a bowl, make a well and add oil, eggs, black pepper, salt, fennel seeds, and baking powder. Mix with a wooden spoon to form a large ball, then just take a pinch at a time and twist or braid. Can be made large or small. Place on ungreased cookie sheet. Bake at 350 degrees for 15-20 minutes.
