FIG HONEY BREAD 
1/4 c. shortening
1/4 c. brown sugar
1 egg
1/2 c. honey
1 1/2 c. milk
1 c. All-Bran
3 c. flour
1/4 tsp. soda
1 1/2 tsp. salt
3 tsp. baking powder
1/2 c. chopped nutmeats
1/2 c. chopped figs

Blend shortening and sugar well. Add egg and beat well. Add honey, milk and All Bran. Mix well. Sift flour with soda, salt and baking powder. Add to first mixture with nutmeats and figs. Stir only until flour disappears. Bake in greased loaf pan with wax paper in bottom at 350 degrees about 1 hour and 15 minutes. 1 loaf (5x9).
