MACKEREL BURGERS 
1 (15 1/2 oz.) can mackerel
3 tbsp. minced, peeled onion
3 tbsp. lemon juice
1 c. saltine cracker crumbs
1 lg. egg
1 tsp. Worcestershire sauce
2 tbsp. bacon dripping or vegetable oil
Hamburger buns
Chili sauce or tartar sauce

In a medium bowl mix mackerel, onion, lemon juice, crumbs, egg and Worcestershire sauce. Shape into 6 patties. Heat bacon drippings in a large skillet over medium high heat. Add patties and cook 3 to 4 minutes per side, until lightly browned. Serve with chili or tartar sauce.
