1 1/2 c. white stone ground cornmeal
1 tbsp. sugar
1 tbsp. corn oil
Mix all above ingredients together with enough water to about consistency of cooked oatmeal. Drop large spoonfuls in hot grease. Cook until golden brown. Turn and cook on other side until golden brown. Remove and drain on brown paper (paper towels ok).
