CHEWY COCONUT MACAROONS 
3 egg whites
1/4 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. cream of tartar
1 c. confectioners' sugar
3 tbsp. flour
1 tsp. vanilla
1/2 lb. Angel Flake coconut

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Beat egg whites until foamy. Add salt and cream of tartar. Beat until egg mixture stands up in peaks. Sift confectioners' sugar and flour together. Fold into egg mixture; add vanilla and coconut. Drop on greased cookie sheet and bake for 30 minutes.
