1 lg. broccoli
1 lb. ziti or cavatelli
1/4 c. chopped parsley
2 lg. cloves mashed garlic
1/4 c. olive oil
3 tbsp. butter
1/4 c. grated Parmesan cheese
1/2 tsp. black pepper

Wash broccoli and steam 20 minutes or so. In another pot cook ziti in broiling water about 20 minutes. In another pan combine olive oil, butter, parsley and garlic. Stir and warm this sauce for a few minutes. Do not cook or brown. Drain broccoli or ziti as soon as cooked. Place both in the hot pot the ziti was cooked in and pour sauce over both. Sprinkle on the cheese and pepper and serve immediately with fresh Italian bread.
