1 c. shredded coconut
1 c. chopped pecans
1/4 lb. butter
1 (16 oz.) box confectioners' sugar
1 box German chocolate cake mix
1 (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese
Mix together the coconut and pecans; put into bottom of a greased 9 x 13 inch pan. Prepare cake mix according to package directions. Pour over coconut and pecan mixture. Place butter and cream cheese in a saucepan; heat until mixture is warm enough to stir in the confectioners' sugar. Spoon over top of cake mix. Bake at 350 degrees for 35-40 minutes. Cut when cool.
