MOM'S APPLE DUMPLINGS 
1 box Pillsbury refrigerated pie crusts
4 baking apples, pared and cored
4 tsp. butter
2 tsp. sugar
1 tsp. cinnamon

Cut pie crusts in half. Put 1 apple in center of each 1/2 of crust. Put 1 teaspoon butter in center of each apple. Sprinkle apples with sugar. Sprinkle apples with cinnamon. Bring up sides of dough, wet edges with water and seal.

Place in baking pan and bake until crust is brown at 450 degrees. Test for doneness of apples with fork. Serve with vanilla ice cream.
