|CINNAMON PECAN BARS|
1/2 c. butter
1 c. sugar
1/2 c. flour
1 1/4 tsp. cinnamon
1/4 tsp. salt
1 c. chopped (finely) pecans
Cream butter, add sugar gradually, creaming thoroughly. Add eggs and beat until fluffy. Sift flour, cinnamon and salt together; add to creamed mixture. Mix until blended. Stir in pecans.
Turn into greased 8 inch pan and spread evenly. Bake in 350 degree oven for 40 minutes. Cut into small bars while still warm. Coat with powdered sugar. Be careful -- these brown very quickly and burn easily.
