STEAMED CARROT PUDDING WITH SAUCE 
1 c. ground carrots
1 c. white sugar
1 c. ground suet
1 c. ground raisins
2 tbsp. molasses
1 tsp. salt
2 c. flour
1 tsp. baking powder

SAUCE:

1 c. brown sugar
2 c. water
1/4 tsp. nutmeg
1 tsp. vanilla
1/2 to 1 tsp. salt

Mix all pudding ingredients together. Put in pan and steam for 3 hours.

Bring sauce ingredients to a boil and let thicken, stirring constantly. Serve over steamed pudding.

This was my mother's recipe and we continue to enjoy it each year.
