Scrub potatoes. Slice in 1/4 inch slices. Peel onion and slice thinly. In baking dish, layer potato slices and separated onion slices. Sprinkle with seasoning salt and dot with butter. Make 2 layers. Cover and microwave 5 to 6 minutes or until tender.
