QUICK AND EASY BREAKFAST CASSEROLE 
Tear up 4 slices bread, any kind and place pieces in greased baking dish (13 x 9 x 2 inches) a pretty oven-to-table casserole would be a good choice.

Brown and drain 1 pound bulk sausage meat or links in skillet. Drain off fat. Cut links in slices. Spoon sausage over bread. Sprinkle with 1 cup grated sharp cheese. Beat together 6 eggs, 2 cups milk, 1 teaspoon dry mustard (optional), 1 teaspoon salt and dash pepper. Pour over mixture in baking dish. Bake in 350 degree oven for 35-40 minutes. The cheese will rise to top during baking.

I prepare this the night before, cover and refrigerate. Breakfast cooks without any effort. Serves 6-8.
