YAM CASSEROLE WITH CRUNCH TOPPING 
3 c. cooked, mashed yams
2 eggs, beaten
1/2 stick butter, melted
1 1/2 tsp. vanilla
1/2 c. white sugar
1/4 tsp. salt
1/2 c. milk
1/2 c. brown sugar
1/3 c. all-purpose flour
1/3 stick butter, melted
1 c. chopped nuts

Combine yams, sugar, eggs, salt and 1/2 stick melted butter. Add milk and vanilla. Mix well. Spoon into a buttered 1 1/2 quart casserole dish. Combine last four ingredients and spread this mealy mixture evenly on top of yams. Bake at 350 degrees for 35 minutes or until set.
