SWEET AND TANGY PORK CHOPS 
4-6 pork chops
Flour, seasoned to taste
1/2 c. vinegar
1/4 c. white sugar
1/4 c. brown sugar
2 tbsp. soy sauce
1/8 tsp. salt
1/4 c. chopped onion
1/4-1/2 c. chopped green pepper

Dust pork chops with seasoned flour and brown in small amount of shortening Drain excess fat. In small pan combine and cook vinegar, sugars, soy sauce and salt to dissolve sugars. Add onions and green pepper. Pour sauce over chops. Cover and simmer slowly for 1 hour or until tender. Coarsely shredded carrots may be added before serving, stirring just until hot.
