QUICK CHERRY COBBLER 
1 stick butter
1 c. self rising flour
1 c. sugar
1 level tsp. baking powder
1 egg
3/4 c. milk

Melt the butter in Pyrex baking dish. Mix together remaining ingredients except cherries. Pour batter over melted butter. Drain in quart can of cherries and put on top of batter. Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Place cobbler in and cook for 30-35 minutes.
