HAMBURGER AND CABBAGE CASSEROLE 
1 sm. head cabbage
1/2 chopped onion
1/2 tsp. salt
1 c. tomato soup
1/4 c. grated cheese
1 lb. ground beef
1/2 c. rice
1/4 tsp. pepper
1 1/2 c. water
1/4 tsp. garlic powder

Chop cabbage and spread in bottom of greased 9 x 13 inch dish. Brown meat and onion in skillet. Add rice, salt and pepper. Spoon over cabbage. Heat tomato soup in small pan with water. Pour over all. Sprinkle with cheese. Cover with foil tightly. Bake 1 1/2 hours at 350 degrees.
