CHESS PIE 
1 1/2 c. sugar
1 stick butter
3 whole eggs
1 tsp. flour
1 tsp. cornmeal (heaping - Quaker)
1 tsp. vinegar
1 tbsp. water
1 tsp. vanilla
Pinch of salt
1 (9 inch) pie crust

Cream butter and sugar; beat in eggs one at a time. Add other ingredients; mix well. Pour into an unbaked pie shell. Bake for 10 minutes in a 400 degree oven, then for 30 to 35 minutes at 350 degrees.
