LUSCIOUS STRAWBERRY DESSERT 
1 c. butter
2 c. flour
1/2 c. chopped nuts

Mix together with fork or pastry blender and press into 9 x 13 inch pan. Bake 20 to 25 minutes at 375 degrees.

WHITE FILLING:

1 (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese
1 c. sugar
1 c. whipped topping

Mix cream cheese and sugar until well blended and smooth. Mix in whipped topping and spread over cooled crust.

STRAWBERRY TOPPING:

2 baskets strawberries
1 c. sugar
3 tbsp. cornstarch
1/4 c. water
Few drops red food coloring

Clean and cut 1 box strawberries in halves and layer over white filling, cut side down. Crush the other box of strawberries. Mix cornstarch and sugar together in a saucepan. Add crushed strawberries and water. Cook, stirring constantly, until mixture comes to a boil and becomes transparent. Let cool a few minutes; add a few drops of red food coloring and pour over strawberry halves. Refrigerate until thoroughly cooled and top with whipped cream.
