|WILD RICE SPINACH SALAD|
2 c. cooked wild rice
4 c. torn fresh spinach
1/2 c. sliced green onions
6 slices bacon, cooked crisp, drained & crumbled
2 c. cooked chicken
1/2 c. bottled Italian salad dressing
1 tbsp. soy sauce
1/2 tsp. sugar
Step 1: Combine rice, spinach, onion, bacon and chicken.
Step 2: In small saucepan, combine dressing, soy sauce and sauce. Heat to boiling. Remove from heat. Pour over rice mixture. Toss to coat. Serve immediately. Serves 4. Note: This salad can be served without heating the dressing.
