1 (13 oz.) Cool Whip
1 can condensed milk
1 can cherry pie filling or 1 can dark bing cherries (drained)
1 med. can crushed pineapple (drain and save 1/4 c. juice)
3/4 c. to 1 c. nuts
1 tbsp. cherry Jello
Dissolve Jello in 1/4 cup hot pineapple juice. Let cool. Mix all other ingredients. Add dissolved Jello to mixture. Pour into serving dish and refrigerate.
Cherry pie filling makes salad sweeter, I use the bing cherries.
