BAKED BUTTER BEANS 
1 lb. cooked butter beans
3/4 lb. bacon, diced
1 lg. onion, chopped
1 med. sweet pepper, chopped

Cook bacon crisp. Add onion and pepper. Cook until tender. Do not drain off the grease. In a large baking dish, add the bacon mixture to beans. Stir. Add 1 can tomato soup, 1 cup brown sugar, salt to taste. Bake 2 to 2 1/2 hours at 350 degrees.
