BANANA DATE BREAD 
2 c. flour, unsifted
1 tsp. soda
1/2 tsp. salt
2 med. bananas, mashed
1/2 c. butter, room temperature
1 c. sugar
2 eggs or 1/2 c. Egg Beater substitute
1 tsp. vanilla
1/4 c. cold water
1/2 c. finely cut up moist dates
1/2 c. chopped walnuts

Cream sugar and butter; add eggs and mix thoroughly. Add mashed bananas and blend well. Add dry ingredients, vanilla, water, dates, and nuts. Pour into 2 fruit cake pans which have been greased and floured. Bake in 325 degree oven for about 45 minutes or until tested one. Can be baked in bread pan also.
