BEACON HILL COOKIES 
6 oz. semi-sweet chocolate chips (1 c.)
2 egg whites, at room temp.
1/8 tsp. salt
1/2 c. sugar
1/2 tsp. vanilla
1/2 tsp. vinegar
3/4 c. chopped walnuts

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Melt chocolate chips over hot water; cool slightly. Beat egg whites with a dash of salt until foamy. Gradually add sugar, beating continuously. Continue beating until stiff peaks form. Beat in vanilla and vinegar. Fold in chocolate and walnuts. Drop by teaspoonful on greased cookie sheet. Bake for 10 minutes. Remove from cookie sheet immediately onto brown paper.

Makes about 36 cookies.
