3 lbs. mussels (live) wash in salt/lemon water, remove bears
12 to 15 hard shell clams (live), scrub and wash in salt/lemon water
1 c. olive oil (imported)
2 lbs. octopus (clean, rinse and pound flat)
2 lbs. shrimp
1/2 c. lemon juice
2 tsp. mustard
1 clove garlic
Parsley (fresh)
Salt and ground pepper

Pour 3 tablespoons oil in large pan. Add mussels, clams and garlic. Cover and cook high for 10 to 12 minutes. When shells open, take out fish, reserving the liquid. Strain liquid, set aside. Octopus in large pan add liquid from above. Cook gently for 2 hours. Add shrimp, cook 10 more minutes. Take octopus and shrimp from pan. Shell shrimp and cut octopus in small pieces. Put all shellfish together in a pretty bowl.

Mix olive oil with lemon juice, mustard, parsley, garlic, salt and 2 sprinklings of pepper. Pour dressing over seafood, mix lightly. Set aside for 2 hours and serve cold.
