CHILI SAUCE 
18 ripe tomatoes
1 lg. onion
3 green sweet peppers (OR I use 1 red sweet bell pepper)
1 tsp. each cinnamon, allspice, clove, nutmeg
1 c. brown sugar
2 1/2 c. vinegar
2 tsp. salt

Scald and peel tomatoes, chop onions fine. Remove seeds from pepper(s) and chop fine. Combine all ingredients and cook until mixture thickens. Seal in bottles when cold. (Or, I can it in jelly jars or pints.)
