BUTTER POUND CAKE 
4 c. Swan's Down cake flour
1 c. milk
1 lb. butter
6 eggs
3 c. sugar

ICING:

1/2 box confectioners' sugar
1 tsp. vanilla flavor
1 tbsp. soft butter

Let butter get to room temperature; cream butter and sugar. Add cake flour, eggs and milk. Bake at 300 degrees for 2 1/2 hours. Let cool.

ICING: Take soft butter, confectioners' sugar and vanilla flavor. Add milk and mix until smooth. Then glaze cake with mixture.
