HOT MILK CAKE WITH ORANGE GLAZE 
2 c. sugar
4 eggs
2 c. flour
1 c. milk
1/4 lb. butter
1 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. salt
2 tsp. vanilla

FOR GLAZE IF DESIRED:

1/4 c. butter
2/3 c. sugar
1/3 c. orange juice

Cream sugar and egg yolks. Add well beaten egg whites. Add flour; mix well. Bring milk and butter to a boil. Add vanilla, salt and baking powder last. Bake in 350 degree oven for about 1 hour. (In greased, floured tube pan.)

For Glaze: Heat ingredients until sugar and butter dissolved. Pour over hot cake. Let cool for 1 hour before taking out of pan.
