1 box yellow cake mix (without pudding in mix)
1 (20 oz.) can crushed pineapple
1 c. sugar
1 (6 oz.) pkg. vanilla pudding mix (not instant)
1 (9 oz.) pkg. whipped topping
1 can flaked coconut
Bake cake by package directions in 9 x 13 inch pan at 350 degrees until done. Remove from pan and punch holes in cake with toothpick. While cake bakes, mix together the pineapple with sugar and heat until sugar dissolves. Spoon over cake. Make up pudding and when it thickens, spoon over cake. Spread cake with whipped topping when cool enough. Sprinkle coconut over top. Keep refrigerated.
