RITZ CRACKER PIE (MOCK APPLE) 
2 c. water
1 1/2 c. sugar
2 level tsp. cream of tartar

Boil 2 minutes. Add 22 De crackers and allow to boil 1 minute. Do not stir. Remove from fire. (Be sure each cracker gets down into boil.)

Line 8 inch pie pan with pie dough. Add the above mixture. Dot with butter and cinnamon. Cover with another crust, sprinkle a little sugar and cinnamon on top. Bake at 375 degrees about 45 minutes or until crust is nice and brown and pie is firm. (Mixture will be a bit juicy when you put it into the pie shell. It will thicken.)
