BARBECUE BEEF IN A CUP 
1 lb. ground beef
1 c. barbecue sauce
1 tbsp. finely chopped onion
2 tbsp. brown sugar (optional)
1 (8 oz.) can refrigerator biscuits
1 c. grated cheese (Cheddar or your choice)

Brown meat. Add onion to cook until tender, drain well. Add barbecue sauce, brown sugar. Mix well. Set aside.

Separate biscuits and flatten. Place one biscuit in each of 12 ungreased muffin cups, pressing dough up sides to edge of cup. Fill each cup 2/3 to 3/4 full with meat mixture. Sprinkle with cheese. Bake at 400 degrees for 10-12 minutes or until biscuits are done.

NOTE: Recipe works well with sloppy joe filling as well.
