SANDY'S SWEET - SOUR CABBAGE 
6 slices bacon, cut into bite size pieces
1 sm. onion, sliced
1 head cabbage, shredded
1/2 to 3/4 c. sugar
1/2 to 3/4 c. vinegar
Salt and pepper to taste

In Dutch oven, fry bacon and onion until done. Add sugar, vinegar, and cabbage, and blend well. Cover and simmer approximately 1 hour, until desired degree of wellness is desired. Salt and pepper to taste.
