Hot dogs (as many as you need)
1 stick butter
1 c. bourbon or rum
1 box brown sugar
1 bottle soy sauce

Cut each hot dog into 3 pieces. In a large pot, put hot dogs, butter and add to cover. Simmer, do not boil, over low heat until dogs have swelled in size. Drain and discard water. Mix brown sugar, soy sauce and bourbon together in large pot. Bring to boil, then turn down heat. Place part of the hot dogs in pot to simmer, not boil, for 30 minutes. Remove hot dogs and small amount of juice to chafing dish. Add remaining hot dogs to pot. Serve with toothpicks and keep the dish full.
