GLAZED PECANS 
1 c. sugar
1 tsp. cinnamon
1/8 tsp. cream of tartar
1/4 c. boiling water
1 tsp. vanilla
1 1/2 c. nuts

Mix sugar, cinnamon and cream of tartar in saucepan. Add boiling water and cook to softball stage. Remove from heat. Add vanilla. Add nuts and toss. Pour on waxed paper and separate to cool.
