HOT TAMALE BALLS 
1 lb. lean ground beef
1 lb. hot pork sausage
1/2 c. flour
1 1/2 c. corn meal
4 cloves garlic, chopped
2 tbsp. chili powder
2 tbsp. cumin
1 1/2 tsp. salt
3/4 c. V-8 or tomato juice
1 tsp. cayenne pepper

Combine all ingredients and mix well. Shape into balls.

SAUCE:

5 c. V-8 juice
2 tbsp. chili powder
2 tbsp. cumin
1 tsp. salt

Mix well and place balls in sauce and simmer for 2 hours. To keep balls from falling apart, make sure the sauce is very thin; add water if necessary.
