|MEATLOAF - SPECIAL|
1 pkg. ground hamburger meat (about 1 1/2 lbs.)
1 pkg. Lipton onion-mushroom soup mix
2 tbsp. chives
1/2 tsp. garlic powder
1/4 c. Parmesan cheese
1 tbsp. mustard (any flavor)
1/3 c. ketchup
1/2 c. water
1 c. Italian seasoned or reg. bread crumbs
In large bowl, mix all of the above ingredients well, except the meat and bread crumbs. Add meat to the sauce and mix very well. Add bread crumbs and knead well until it all sticks together nicely. If mixture is too hard, add little more water or else the meatloaf will be too dry.
In 2 quart microwave-safe oblong baking dish, shape into loaf. Wrap with Saran Wrap and cut a few holes. Microwave at medium high for 14 minutes. Turn 1/2 way and microwave another 12 to 14 minutes; let stand covered 5 minutes. Drain grease and slice.
In conventional oven, preheat oven to 350°F and bake the loaf for 45 minutes or until done the way you like it.
