CRISPY CRUST POUND CAKE 
1 1/2 c. Crisco
1 3/4 c. sugar
5 eggs
2 tsp. vanilla
2 c. plain flour

Cream shortening and sugar well. Beat in an egg at a time. Add flavoring and flour. Do not over beat while adding flour, but mix well. Pour into prepared tube pan. Bake at 325 degrees for 1 hour and 25 minutes or until springs back after tapped.
