2 lbs. ground beef
5 or 6 whole green peppers
1 1/2 - 2 c. uncooked Minute Rice
1/4 c. chopped onion
1 (30 oz.) jar spaghetti sauce (I use Ragu)
Brown hamburger and onion. Meanwhile, clean peppers and boil in water for 5 minutes. Set peppers in baking dish. Add spaghetti sauce to cooked hamburger, then add rice. Simmer together about 10 minutes. Stuff peppers and bake in 350 degree oven for 30 to 40 minutes. Sometimes I add a slice of Velveeta cheese on top of each pepper for the last 5 minutes of baking time. If I have more "stuffing" than peppers, I simply pack stuffing around peppers in baking dish.
