SPLIT PEA LOAF 
2 c. cooked split peas (thick)
1/2 c. cooked carrots
1 1/2 c. stalks celery, chopped
1/2 sm. onion, chopped
1/2 c. fine bread crumbs
1 tsp. salt
2 tbsp. oil
Dash thyme

Whiz vegetables in blender. Mix all ingredients together. Pack into oiled loaf pan or 1 quart casserole. Bake at 350 degrees for 45 minutes. Serve with tomato sauce or gravy. Yield 4-6 servings.
