HAMBURGER STEAK & GRAVY 
1 lb. hamburger meat
1 sm. onion, chopped
8 crackers, crushed
1/4 c. water
Salt & pepper

GRAVY:

1 can cream of mushroom soup
1 pkg. brown gravy mix
1 1/2 cans water

Mix all ingredients together and let set 5 minutes. Put small amount of butter in skillet and make meat mixture into round patties about 1/2 inch thick. Brown on both sides but do not flatten. When done, pour off liquid. Place patties back into skillet on low.

Prepare gravy in separate pan. Heat until hot. Pour over patties and simmer for 30 minutes.
