ITALIAN BISCUIT COOKIES 
2 c. flour
1/3 c. shortening
1/2 c. sugar
3 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. salt
3 eggs
2 tsp. anisette extract

Cream softened butter and sugar. Add flour and baking powder and salt. Add eggs, one at a time. Roll mixture into balls and bake at 375 degrees for 15 minutes.

ICING:

1 c. confectioners' sugar
2 tbsp. milk
1 tsp. almond extract

Frost cookies while hot.
