GINGER COOKIES 
1 heaping c. shortening, 1/2 butter, 1/2 Crisco
1 c. molasses
1/2 c. brown sugar
4 egg yolks
3 tbsp. hot water
1 tbsp. vinegar
1 tsp. ginger
1 tsp. cinnamon

Mix all of the above ingredients to a soft batter. Roll into walnut size balls. Place on cookie sheet. Flatten slightly. Bake at 350 degrees.
