BREAD DUMPLINGS 
3 slices dry bread
2 c. flour
1 c. milk
1 egg (large)

In large bowl, tear bread into small pieces. Mix in flour, milk and egg. Should be consistency of moist bread dough, if needed add more milk.

Drop by large serving spoonfuls into large kettle of boiling water. Boil 20 minutes roll dumplings over and cook 10 minutes more. Serve with gravy from pork roast or beef roast.
