SCALLOPED OYSTERS 
1 pt. oysters
4 c. crushed cracker or bread crumbs
1 1/4 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. pepper
1/3 c. melted butter
2 c. oyster juice and milk

Melt butter, add to crumbs. Add alternate layers of crumbs and oysters in a greased casserole. Season with the salt and pepper. Make top layer crumbs. Pour liquid over top. Bake at 375 degrees for 30 minutes. Serves 6.
