WATER CHESTNUT RICE 
1 can water chestnuts
2 (4 oz.) jars mushrooms
1 can French Onion Soup
1 c. raw rice
1 stick butter

Melt butter, saute drained mushrooms and drained chestnuts. In pan, pour liquid from mushrooms and chestnuts. (Wash rice and drain.) Add to liquid, then add sauteed mushrooms/chestnut mixture. Pour into baking dish. Bake 350 degrees about 1 hour.
