BAKED MACARONI ITALIAN STYLE 
1 qt. meat sauce
1/2 lb. ziti macaroni
1/2 lb. ricotta
1/4 lb. Mozzarella, diced
1/4 c. Romano cheese or more

Oil a 2-quart casserole. Boil ziti according to package directions. Cover bottom of casserole with meat sauce. Layer half of drained ziti on top. Next, place half of ricotta on top of macaroni, then Mozzarella, sprinkle of Romano cheese. Cover all with meat sauce.

Repeat layers until all ingredients are used up. End with meat sauce. Cover dish with aluminum foil. Bake in 400 degree oven for 1/2 hour. Remove foil last 10 minutes. Let rest 5 minutes and serve. Additional sauce and Romano cheese may be passed around. Serves 4.
