BEEF BORDEAUX 
2 lb. beef stew meat
1 pkg. onion soup
1 can cream of mushroom soup
1/2 can water
1 (4 oz.) can mushroom pieces

Mix together, cover and bake in 325 degree oven for 2 1/2 hours. Remove and add strips of 2 green peppers and 1/4 cup red wine (these 2 items are optional). Cover and cook 1/2 hour more. Add pitted black olives and cherry tomatoes to this and warm it just before serving. These last 2 items are also optional. Can be served over plain rice, rice pilaf or noodles. Easy oven meal to prepare for large group.
