|RICE KRISPIES MARSHMALLOW TREATS|
1/4 c. regular butter
6 to 10 oz. pkg. regular marshmallows or
4 c. miniature marshmallows
5 c. Rice Krispies cereal
Measure butter into 3 quart saucepan; melt over low heat. Add marshmallows and cook, stirring constantly, until marshmallows are melted and mixture is very syrupy. Remove from heat. Add Rice Krispies cereal; stir until well coated. Spread warm mixture in buttered 13 x 9 x 2 inch pan. Using waxed paper or buttered spatula, press firmly into an even layer. Cut into squares when cool.
Yield 24 (2-inch) squares.
